Scotty
I've been after some hooks for the boot of my S4 to stop bags of shopping/takeaways etc falling over. It seems you get these with the luggage pack but since I didn't have this I did some digging and came up with this : Thanks to Fluffhead and SecureS4 in the US (on Audiworld) for their assistance. These are the OE hooks and they automatically spring up when not in use. Here's the full list of what you need to order : Hook x 2 : 6Y5867615B41 Screw x 4 : N0139694 Speed nut x 4 : N0154373 The total cost (in the UK) was only £9.64 inc VAT
Chrisg
I can confirm how useful these hooks are..... great for hanging the carrier bag on with 4 pints of milk !! Ensures it doesn't leak into the carpet Of course there are many other uses........
chunky
I take it that these hooks would also be suitable for the cab ? Is the net standard or also an accessory ? Looks like a great idea.
Scotty
I bought the net when I had the TT and transfered it over. Strange as it turned out as the net was an A4 one (it was just a lot cheaper than the TT logo'ed one). Take a look up inside your boot and if you see holes like this then you should be fine. Do you have tie down hooks in the Cab for the net to attach to? The clips are what Audi call Speed Nuts and need to be bought with the hooks and screws. chunky
Thanks for the clarification. I don't have my cab yet but was referring to my 3 series which doesn't have any hooks. Besides as I am getting rid of it I will persevere with a messy boot until I change.
ambo
Excellent idea! Can you get direct form the dealer with these part numbers? Or is mail-order easier (if so, where from in the UK)?
Scotty
I used my dealer as I needed their advice / computer. Now you have the parts you can go direct to your dealer and just place an order. For the price it's probably not worth bothering VAG-PARTS.COM but you can give them a call if you want. steve2
i always wondered how to use my net, well done scotty, this is what i like about TSN good imformative advice
Scotty
Well actually this is not how the net should be used as it's not the pucka net! The real net has different rings etc : and also seems to have a central pocket : I'm sure this net could be purchased with the other parts if desired. If you do please add to this thread with the cost and part number.
steve2
my net is the same as the one in your first pic not the genuine audi one
Mollox
Any idea if these are possible on the S3? I hate that "driving with chinese on board" situation where you're either holding it with one hand or watching it coat the footwells. Actually, what am i talking about? I have an MDF stealth shelf - I can screw them to whatever I want
Scotty
I you're going into MDF then it may be worth using your own screws. The ones from Audi are only just long enough and I'm not sure if there's enough to get a proper bit on the MDF.
nick
Does anyone know if these will fit in (dare I say it) a new Passat? Cheers, Nick

Milo
Off topic (but still concerns the boot ) - is it easy to retrofit a 12V power outlet in the boot? The parts are cheap enough but do you know if the wiring is there or is it only on cars specced with the 12V outlet?

Crusader01
Anybody done anything with the hooks in an Avant? Struggling to see where they could go. Thanks C
UBM
The four D rings on the boot floor of the avant are for the cargo net. Add a boot load liner and you almost have aDiy storage pack.
Crusader01
Don't you get some hooks under the load cover as part of the storage pack? so you could retain junk against the back of the seat rather than right in the middle of the loadspace? Regards C
Avus_Bub
Yes I think you do. I've got the load pack on mine but I don't know why I bothered, the most I've had in the back is a case of Stella.... BUB

Tipex
Blimey, my Skoda Superb had these over 5 years ago! I would have thought they'd be standard fit on an Audi? Bloomin useful though!
