davefish
Hi everyone, I'm shall be the proud owner of a brand new MK5 R32 in the summer The only thing I'm undecided on is whether to get a blue one or a black one (light/dark grey looks smart but I'm determined not to go silver). Here's a couple of pics... decisions, decisions, decisions. What do you guys think?
jimmyp
Welcome to TSN That top picture i believe is a TSNer's isn't it??? As for colour we all know DBP is the fastest so surely you should get that, right!?
R32Ash
[ QUOTE ] Welcome to TSN That top picture i believe is a TSNer's isn't it??? [/ QUOTE ] Looks like TP's car (I think).
davefish
Thanks for the replies so far guys. I think blue stands out more than the black but if I'm not sure it will suit exterior styling mods as well (subtle - R32 already looks good). I can't remember where I got the pic from, congrats to the owner though - very clean!
Vagabond
I've got to agree with jimmy. Deep blue pearl (DBP) Exclusive to the R32. It looks the business and.... it turns more heads than a big head turning thing!!!! Having said that, a guy down the road from me has a 56 reg in Red.It looks fantastic when clean
hixster
Yup. It has to be DBP , looks the b**locks when all polished up, i am a little biased though

davefish
hixster / Matt I've been through all your pics in the gallery section, awesome job! Embarrassingly I've downloaded quite a few of them onto my hard-drive.
hixster
Cheers Jimmy and Dave, Unfortunately, she's not looking as clean as that pic at the moment, it's been a few weeks, but a cleaning session is due tomorrow, getting the Megs out for a good 'ol polish
Soulboy
Errr, what about Shadow Blue? When its clean and the sun comes out, it is stunnin
TP27
[ QUOTE ] Looks like TP's car (I think). [/ QUOTE ] Yup, Blue Devil is it !! Put the BBS's back on the BD this week, use the Zolders over the winter only. Amazing the difference in the drive of the car with the BBS/Toyo combination. This brilliant weather is helping too !! Oh and the answer to your question :- best colour IMO for the R32 is DBP or Red.

Oli
I call that grey where I come from If i were to order another R32, I would probably go for red (and I hate red cars!!!!), I think it looks awesome in ths colour, and very rare - Every R32 I see is in black, which isnt a bad thing, as it suits it so well, but its nice to be individual sometimes

Reason being, I have not found a place where I can bring the car that close to the edge of a cliff.
Soulboy
Its at Aberdaron in North Wales - a sort of Lands End of the Llyn Peninsula. Its a very big, steep cliff with no fence!
RedRobin
DBP is the classic colour for the R32 but Shadow Blue looks really smart when clean. Tornado Red is quite rare, but I'm biassed. Silver is good too imo.
Maxyboy
DBP is quality, or black if you can handle the work it requires.... Or white if your good with a spray gun
dvdstry
Get a blue one...then again I'm biased!!!

AGK512
[ QUOTE ] Silver is good too imo. [/ QUOTE ] ... and just a little bit faster than all the other colours Seriously though not a fan of red cars .... but for some reason it suits the R32 in a similar way to white on a gti. saw a red one at the dealers the other day If you go for black hope you like polishing !
