    2002 VW New Beetle, 1.8 Turbo, when car hasn't ran yet for the day and you start it then there is a whistle noise. It seems to be getting louder. It started a few months ago. I don't think it is the fans. If they are not running and I turn on the AC then both begin running with no change in noise. After a few minutes the whistle stops. later in the day if you start the car then it doesn't whistle.
