Hi guys, I am absolutely raving that some scumbag decided to break off both my wing mirrors earlier this week and steal them. (Audi S4 2003). They only targeted my car as all other cars in the street are untouched. Come to ask if anyone can shed some light on how I can get some more. Audi quoted me £960 for both which is a total rip off and nearly gave me a heart attack. I have searched forums high and low, all the posts on here about them are too old to be any good since vagparts is gone etc. Does anyone know if any other model mirror fits the S4, such as the S6/RS6 of the same year. (think they are folding but not sure if that will hinder how they fit) or even as a final straw get some nasty A4 ones and coat the casing. It's frustrated the crap out of me, not only is it causing me additional expense but I can't legally drive my car either. Cheers for your time.

Here's a good one. Yesterday evening I noticed that my alarm didn't bip on arming with the remote. After further investigation, I saw that closing the driver door didn't turn out the interior lights. At this point in time I have no: 1. No power windows 2. No door mirror power control, 3. No heated mirror on the driver side (no heater element in the mirror on the passenger one). 4. No puddle light/red light on the door outside. 5. No power to the central locking actuation on the door lock. 6. No sensing of the lock position. 7. No illumination of the door switches. The only warning that I got that something was up was the previous day I saw that the one-touch open wasn't active, so I reset that (full open, full close, attempt close when closed, one touch worked again). The speakers in the door are okay, they make sound fine. The auto-lock on driving attempts to lock the doors when driving off, and also attempts to lock when slowing down. Is there an earth cable that might be loose somewhere? Where do I start looking to fix this? I'm trying to see where I should start looking for the issues. I'll be putting the vag-com on this evening, but I've a feeling that'll just confirm no contact to the switches etc. At least I can lock the driver's door manually, but the alarm isn't arming as it can't see the door lock state.

I have a 1998 passat, when i have the back passenger door power plugged in besides speakers, and lock the doors, it will not recognize that the door is lockedd and the alarm will start going off. I have checked all the wires inside the rubber boot where the door closes, and I cannot figure it out. Also, when you lock it the dome lights and map lights over the back doors blink. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Hi all I have a Nearside Wing Mirror for an Audi A6. Its for the C6 late 2005 to 2007 plate. It's cover is black but can be resprayed. I bought it on eBay following a mishap with the garage door frame. I bought it in haste as I didn't want to miss out. I did a quick check on ETKA before purchase as it came off a 2005 A6. I later learned that it came from the later model (C6) so won't fit my 2000 C5. What can I say! I was having a bad day! The mirror looks good and I'm assured that it is electrically and mechanically sound but there's no glass. Replacement glass from stealer costs around £20. I bought for £50 + £10 p+p Will sell for £30 + £10 p+p or you can collect
