Looking desperately for a really really short lead (better still adapter) to connect my iPod to the standard AUX socket in the TT. The tray to sit the iPod in is right next to the socket, so ideally want something with no or virtually no length at all to avoid trailing cables everywhere. Don't want the expense of the full iPod integration. Anyone help with this? :confused::confused::confused:

Just about to pick a diesel 09 plate GT and the dealer mentioned something about needing an iPod interface fitting in the glove box. THe arm rest has a cable, does this allow me to play music via the radio ? And do the steering wheel controls work, or is this linked to the iPod via this box the chap was talking about ? Are they easy to fit / get hold of ? Cheers c -
I have changed my plans for my Passat, having recently (within the last week) bought the following unit. It is absolutely brilliant and great value, the only thing I don't like is that the Bluetooth quality is nowhere near that of my factory-fitted hard-wired hands free kit (it works fine but, like a lot of Bluetooth kits, sounds a bit faint by comparison). This is just me being pernickity, but I use my hands-free kit for hours every day and would rather have that working 100% as I want it. Therefore, if the buyer collects from York, I will let this go for £549 (paid £649 a few days ago) and even include a double antenna adaptor (£29). Hi I just bought an 06 mini cooper s, havent actually picked it up from the garage yet but when i read the spec it says it has "ipod preparation" . Can anyone tell me what that is? And if it means i can use my ipod Sorry if it seems like a really dumb question Lou x
