Hi all this is my first post here and I'm after a bit of advise. I have a 2005 BMW E60 with the standard CD player and 6 disc auto changer in the glove box. What i really want is the CCC nav, I've seen a few for sale on ebay but before purchase i need some advice on installation. Will the CCC unit just be a simple straight forward swap or will i need to splice wires and programme? Any advice on this will be much appreciated.

I have purchased an audi A5 but i did not get the sat nav, instead i opted for the SD card slot as i prefer to listen to music. My question is it possible to purchase a CD or SD card with nav for this so i can switch between music and nav or do you have to have the HDD for any type of nav?

Hello, I've not been lurking on this board for a while, and have recently had to replace my '99 D2 A8 after a lady randomly drove into the side of me and wrote it off :-( Anyway, I took the opportunity to trade up to an 05 A8. It has had the firmware updated so that TMC works, but when I asked the dealership whether they could install the newest firmware, and whether that would enable 3D maps on the navi system they were a bit vague. They will install firmware updates, but would charge about £200. They said that they didn't know if that would enable the 3D map view, but they doubted it because my car is likely to be too old to have supported hardware. Now, I'm not going to spend £200 for an Audi technician to feed a disk in my CD player and wait for two hours if it doesn't actually provide any more functionality so ... How can I find out what firmware updates could be applied to my car, and what functionality I could enable? Dww

I have changed my plans for my Passat, having recently (within the last week) bought the following unit. It is absolutely brilliant and great value, the only thing I don't like is that the Bluetooth quality is nowhere near that of my factory-fitted hard-wired hands free kit (it works fine but, like a lot of Bluetooth kits, sounds a bit faint by comparison). This is just me being pernickity, but I use my hands-free kit for hours every day and would rather have that working 100% as I want it. Therefore, if the buyer collects from York, I will let this go for £549 (paid £649 a few days ago) and even include a double antenna adaptor (£29). It is totally unmarked, and fully working - comes with box, wiring, instructions etc. The ebay link for the unit is Page Not Responding And I have listed it for sale on eBay at Page Not Responding
