The car is a 10 Avant and needed over a litre of oil top-up before it's last service and oil change which was in August, I think. Last week it asked for another litre top up (which I haven't yet as I have 502.00 oild and it now needs 504.00) but after nagging us for a couple of days the warning went off again. Two questions: Is it nomal for it to be so thirsty? - it's isn't driven hard very much as my wife generally has the kids in the back. Or is there something likely to be wrong with the sensor?

Hi all, I am about to trade in my 911 for a S4 Avant as I am in need of a family car (baby due shortly). I have looking around but can't seem the right car, there always seems to be something missing. I was 99% convinced I found one earlier but just noticed it doesn't have the multifunctional steering wheel. Any owners out there think this is a must have? Thanks!

Hello, My name is Alex. I live in Bellevue, Washingto. Recently bought a 2008 S4 tip after a catastrophic fire that devestated my 2007 335i coupe I love this car! It's perfect for rainy seattle weather. Unlike my old car I can drive the way I want no matter what the forecast. I also recently had a custom exhaust installed at dan fast mufflers in bellevue. I'll be sure to post a clip of that as soon as I have a chance.

Can anyone Help - I have a S4 Cabrio - 2004 reg, I was driving at less than 20 miles an hour when it made a bad noise from the engine, and stalled. I started it up again and it sounded terrible. I did not start it again but had it recovered to my local Audi garage - Swansea Audi. They looked at it, poked about it, and said they didnt have a clue what was wrong with it but it sounded like a serious timing issue, and they want £2000 to take the engine out, just to have a look see what it wrong. The engine has only done 35,000 miles, out of warranty. Has anybody else had experiences like mine. Am i wrong for expecting an engine to last more than 35,000 miles, especially a chain driven one. I cant afford to pay the potential £6000 bill - HELP.
