JonC
Enjoy the extra power, Lenny. My MKV GTI has been recently Revo'd and I'm still loving the way the power is delivered just where I want it Best £500 I've spent on my car. Mind you, with their latest deal throwing in a SPS, you can't go wrong! Enjoy it; you know you going to.

[/ QUOTE ] ....But, as I understand it, a Mk5 GTI (being turbo'd) will deliver much more gain than a normally aspirated Mk5 R32. The Select box is great but a bit of a pain to dock. Bluefin's extended cable solution is much better (though I am happier to have chosen the Revo remap).
lenny
[ QUOTE ] what power does this give you? sounds interesting [/ QUOTE ] Revo quote a rise in power of 12bhp and 15 torques However they have seen cars with a milltek and Filter make 272bhp... But its not just the rise in power - Revo map is meant to make the power much more smooooth Do a search on this forum and see whats been said already..... All positive The select switch which wou are getting for FREE!!! - normal cost £150 + vat allows you to do the following: 1) stock and performance switchability 2) octane specific settings - useful for trackdays... 3) anti-theft mode - allows your car to start but not be driven away... The map for my R32 is just £339 and can be upgraded to stage 2 and 3 when I continue adding mods... Many other software providers dont offer this service... I am really looking forward to this... when I mapped my mk4 R32 the difference was awesome
JonC
[ QUOTE ] The Select box is great but a bit of a pain to dock [/ QUOTE ] RR, isn't it just plugged into the OBDII port? Surely a quick and simple job?
burble
I was all set to pickup the phone and take up the offer when I noticed that the remap has to be done in December. My car is off at the bodyshop and won't be back until early January. Boo!

I have to get out of the car to use it. Revo, please take note and do something about it....And so that a revised and improved more user-friendly design can be a replacement. burble
To put a different slant on it RR, I had no problem at all using the SPS in my Mk4 as the port was in the centre console below the A/C controls. So it's VW who moved the goal posts (or port in this case)
