My brother has a silver one as is deciding whether to have the supercharger fitted, he reckons it has enough power already.

I think they look good outside just not for me inside (handbrake is weird), he had an engine management problem (if i remeber correctly). Loads of room and the boot is huge, just not for me wink.gif

Weird handbrake, Interior is a bit of a mish mash didn't feel any less well made than the MKv R32 I had, but the noise, the lazy effortless power and a twitchy rear end on greasy roundabouts seriously seriously tempted may attempt to get more than the 10% discount already on offer as theres hardly queues to buy 350+ g/km cars is there.

Well I like them alot. So much power for so little money. There are downsides, depreciation from new and the athetics inside and out. Its just so much car for the money though its hard to be critical really for what you are getting.

My advice would be buy a nearly newer one and save £££££

A fine car to drive if you are after a decent V8 4 door car. I still prefer Coupe's so the Monaro is enough for me at the moment. Drove the VXR8 around Thruxton a few times, and it didnt disappoint.

And if you want to throw in a few xtra quid for some goodies, this is how it sounds with some WORTEC toys on it. 169144-ok.gif

Good Lord, as if

hasn't been giving me enough wet dreams over the last few weeks SAUER0421.GIF

Going to try and root one out for a test drive - seems that 30k buys you en ex-demo and that is just so much car for the money. Although I worry that with the switchable exhaust and then the supercharger kit for 6-8k it might not be easy to stop modding them.

Having said that you can pick up a tidy E55 AMG for the same money and that needs no mods.

Best not think about these things.
