ahaydock
I have noticed on a mates 1998 A3 that there appears to be a plug/socket behind the near side panel in the compartment with the sub. It looks like a DIN type and wondered whether this is for the CD changer? If so where does it fit?
JohnS3
I did read that some cars were pre-wired for the CD changer. The Audi changer was quite expensive at the time, you might get one el cheapo these days. Have a look behind the headunit and see if you can find the other end of it. It may be tied up against the loom rather than hanging loose. Good luck!
Paul
Yes that will be the changer plug. Later cars, they didnot wire them if they were not spec'd. Where does it fit? Ontop of the sub. Here is mine ontop of the Bose Sub.
