rjgreen4
Just had 4 new goodyear asymetric (F1 Gsd3) replacements I think fitted to my car. At a fraction over 70 the car feels as if it is going over small cobbles, is this to do with the balancing? doesn't feel right. any thoughts? Calm Chris
Does is go away at 100 (kph) speeds, or does it get worse and worse? Could a wheel have thrown a sticky balance weight- if they balance the wheel and haven't cleaned the wheel then it can happen. Safest bet is to take it back, if the fault wasn't there before it shouldn't be there now. Have they put them on the right way round
Mook
Sounds like balancing. Like Chris says, does it go away over the speed it wobbles at? Unless your tyre fitters are thicker than a strawberry McFlurry on a cold morning, they shouldn't have put them on the wrong way round - it says "inside" on the, erm, inside edge of the F1 Asym
Biscuits
Hmmm...... mine haven't been great now you mentionn it. I've been meaning to get the wheel balancing checked for a couple of weeks now. I only notice at 100+ (kph) though... but put it down to poor balancing. I'm sure the tyres are good.
