MarskeBear
got surprise when i called to get price for 2nd AVS. Teesside qouted £219 all incusive( vat, oil, labour) this was without airfilter and brake fluid change as i can do these myself. though this was a good price compared to what i have paid in past for servicing. They have went to audi fixed cost menu and this has lead to around 60-80 drop. They do still and try the old litre of oil for the boot stunt!! Redavant
I've just paid £444 including the brake fluid change! Tyneside Audi. They wanted to charge me £120 for rear pads and £150 for front, I said I'd leave it! Whats the litre of oil in the boot stunt?

[/ QUOTE ] I don't doubt that at all, but for a lot of people, it comes down to having the stamp in the book come selling time. I get all the main servicing done by the Audi dealer and all maintenance done by my local specialist. Works out a lot cheaper
nordberg
The litre of oil costs you around £20 + VAT. I told my garage to stick it. I told them I already had a litre in my boot and if I wanted more I would buy it Halfords for £35 for 4 litres. Then I got started on them charging me ridiculous amounts for the oil change. Told them I could sell them oil at 50% what they charge and we could both make a healthy profit.... He didn't seem to impressed with my aggressive atitude. Tossers. They would probably prefer i take my custom elsewhere

Mel will probably answer the phone and get you booked in for whatever you need. Hourly rate is £52.50 + VAT IIRC - they're very thorough and know exactly what they're doing. Gary did all of the mods on my R32 and he's already done quite a bit to my S4. Oh, and you'll also get a courtesy car (but don't expect a brand new Audi!) Tell them Mook from Tyresmoke suggested you call
