terrymcg
I have just bought a 2003 E46 M3. What a cracking motor! The car has the widescreen monitor and TV Tuner but no NAV. Does anyone know if fitting NAV is just plug and play with a MKIV nav computer. I have had a quick look behind the trim panel and cant see any spare plugs. So is it possible? There is a blue plug in the tv tuner and there is a white slot spare in the tuner. The BM54 unit has a quadlock connector into it. Also the headunit is running a horrible looking BBC Micro ish screen, which I would imagine is old software, as I have seen other screens running a much nicer looking version. How do you upgrade software without a NAV drive? Thanks in advance.
gizze
Yeah, I think that you put the blue connector into the MKIV and then the new cable goes back into the TV tuner. Get the cable off ebay, if you just want better looking graphics buy a MKIII cd based version for £75. You can update this to the latest graphics.
