allroadman Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 Audi AG’s plans to introduce a TT Clubsport in 2010 have now been shelved, as a result of the economic conditions. The TT Clubsport, unveiled exclusively to those at this year’s National Forum, in Lisbon, was due to be launched in 2010. And plenty of Centres signed up in Lisbon to take delivery of the car at the earliest possible opportunity. However, Audi AG has now taken the prudent decision to cancel the TT Clubsport’s development and production. “The TT Clubsport would have been a really exciting addition to the Audi range,” says James Allitt, TT Product Manager at Audi UK. “The current conditions have forced the factory into making this difficult decision, but the good news is that this move frees Audi AG to concentrate fully on developing the current range.
