skifly
As many of you may know, mainly due to the random emigrate / boxes and visa questions on here over the last couple of months I will be leaving for New Zealand in September for a fair while and hence I cant justify keeping my car. Going to be gutted to see it go, but hopefully it can go to a decent home to someone on here who will give it the attention it deserves. The spec on the car is as follows and is in very good condition and has been kept well washed and waxed in the year I have had it. Prior to that it was owned by a guy who kept it garaged and only put 6k miles on it in 2 years! edo
Good luck! Helping a mate sell a 2005 987, and that is more than dealer money!
Torino101
Do you get a Fiat 500 thrown in as well??
skifly
Do you get a Fiat 500 thrown in as well?? Ah... that was not a great start. If anyone wants to pay the previous price you are more than welcome and will be happy to throw in a bonus bag of cheesy poofs... Price has now been amended by the cost of a couple of fiat 500's. Now somewhere to start from as I dont want the stealers getting the car back! Its way too nice to be washed by a 15 year old with a gritty sponge! skifly
Updated: I have dropped the price on this down to £27,500 ono... for a car that originally cost £48k new and is in great condition.
skifly
So why is it at the moment people can come along with crazy offers for cars. Is this just the market at the moment and are any sellers actually accepting these prices? Happy to negotiate on price but hoping to keep my kidneys in the process! _Tone_
Hello Mate I just had a look on Pistonheads for a 3.2s and they are available from around £22k upwards. I do feel bad for you - when you buy one of these after 3 years 36k miles your supposed to be able to pull approx 70% of its value! In this case your looking at under 50% which is not very good. I dunno what to say but unless you ask for money thats in the same range its gonna be difficult Have you had much interest? Good luck! can you take it down to NZ with you??? Muppetboy
Not a good climate to be selling anything mate... people seem to think sellers are desperate and offer silly money. Try selling a house at the moment Good luck with the sale
Booster
Selling cars is bloody hard work at the moment. Mine is £1k cheaper than anything else out there and I haven't had a single viewing in three weeks of it being advertised.
skifly
Well after some frankly bizarre offers and some timewasters (more than expected) the car is now based in Leeds until I leave for NZ. I really wish it was worth taking it over there with me, but with finance companies not wanting to let it out of the country for more than 30 days and the cost of shipping being a bit too expensive (unless anyone knows a cheap way its not really feasible). When you take into account the cost of the monthly payments and factor in the UK equivilent of my NZ wage over there it becomes a little too steep! Therefore I am now offering the car for £23,995 ono (but you might have to put up with my mums sales banter for which I apologise now!) Prior to the 11th, please call me on 0207 303 0931 if you want to discuss or see the car. Cheers - Chris
skifly
Oh and price reduction is mainly as would prefer it to go before I leave as my mum driving it will mean all Kerbs are at risk of a good bashing and lots of supermarket trips!!! Plus I know what the car is... other than a black Porsche!!
