Got my kit and weather permitting, it wil be applied this weekend.

Once I have done it, what's the best way to keep it in good condition?

Wax then polish or polish then wax??? And which ones?? AG SRP and AG HD Wax?

Not an expert but would guess that uin the first instance a polish would not be needed as you've a new car and applied LifeShine. Secondly as polishing has a cutting property (however small it may be) this would remove any softer coating like wax. I get my car on Monday and will get it LifeShined the following week. I then intend to put AutoGlym's High Definition Wax on

Wax always after polishing.

Waxes are not always abbrasive, there are two types. A chemical polish which is just a cleaner type product, Poorboys Pro Polish for example. Then there is a abbrasive polish with chemical cleaner action like ScratchX.

IIRCC the kit is ready to apply to fresh paintwork, i would wait atleast 24hrs before placing anything on top of the Lifeshine.

Cheers Geoff.

I applied the exterior Lifeshine kit today and I am really impressed with the speed and ease of use of the products. Lovely earner for stealers!

I have done the carpets inside but was a bit concerned about how the same product can be good for carpet and leather so haven't done the seats yet. Its not going to balls up the leather is it?

I've used the protector on leather and cloth interiors and it's absolutely fine. +++

You mentioned Autoglym HD wax. If you've got some then I think it would be well worth applying over the Lifeshine. (allow Lifeshine to cure 24 hours).

Lifeshine leaves a nice finish but i've found adding a wax or even a coat of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection really noticibly adds to the finish.

  • 2 weeks later...

My car arrived and the valet man took it from clean and shining to CLEAN and SHINING. He did a very nice job indeed on it and applied LifeShine inthe process. He even lifeshined the wheels inner and outer surfaces. 2 days later I applied AutoGlym Hi Def wax. Now I use the car as a mirror, I find the one in the bathroom doesn't reflect as well!!! I'm very pleased I choose LifeShine.
