nikw
This is driving me mad! I have a suspected O2 sensor fault on the wife's 97 A6 2.8 quattro avant which I need to check with VAG-COM, but I can't for the life of me find the OBD port. I've looked under the dash on both sides, I've looked in the fusebox under the bonnet, and I've looked in the centre console as advised in this post on Audiworld, but without success. The centre console location has a hole of the right size and shape for the socket, but no socket and no obvious wiring either. Can anyone help?! cruiser647
From what I remember, my P-reg A6/100 2.8 Q, has the old fashioned set-up. No connector ports or anything. You might have to use the old style reader. The 'port' was in the fuse box under the bonnet. Drivers side under the windscreen. I think..............Just don't quote me! nikw
Oops, forgot I'd posted in here! :o:o Thanks for the feedback Cruiser - I suspect you're right. I was hoping that because it has the later ACK (30 valve V6) engine it would also have the modern diagnostic port instead of the old two socket setup. I'll have to get my tame real mechanic to have a look at it I think...
