Here's a challenge to all of you. Pick up the phone and call your local Lexus dealership, when they answer I'd like you to say " Hello, I'm a cock that drive a Audi and I take myself too seriously - can you put me through to the gentleman that has sussed me for being a TIT please" The first one to find me wins a 48 hour test drive in the RX400h I CHALLENGE YOU ALL

Now theres a challenge for all the IT bods, wouldn't think it would be too hard??

How are we supposed to get put through to you when your Mummy says it's bed time? :(

You haven't been a good boy this year, Santa won't be bringing you toys. At least in this economic climate, the coal will be welcome. :)

I'm allowed to stay up until 7.00pm actually so it gives you a couple of hours. Come on, get ringing - first one to find me wins the RX400h for 48 hours. There are only 52 dealers in the network so it won't take you too long.

Do Chelfing need any salesmen? This guy sounds perfect.

I'll ask Bisek Giddur....;)

LMD - I'm going to be serious now as you seemed to have calmed down just a little :

Tell me why I should change my BMW 330 to the 'equivalent' car from the Lexus range. Try not to use TG quotes, anything to do with image (or other intangibles), go on - sell me a car. I'm listening. I will genuinely read what you put and respond without taking the p1ss.

So that's the booby prize. What's the real prize?

I've read this thread over the days it's been running and I have one question?

Do we (the punters) need you (Lexus) more than you need us? If so then your attitude makes fractionally more sense. If not then I'm simply confused by your attitude. So much for welcoming people and and stealing people from your rivals.

Good luck (really). I think you'll need it. :(

The only way to fully appreciate the qualities of a Lexus is to go to a state-of -the-art Lexus centre and see the range for yourself (yes this will involve driving one and before anyone say's anything about test drives and messers I know what I said earlier). You'll find that the attention to detail is first class and the build quality is superb. All the vehicles in the Lexus range have been built with the driver in mind and you'll be surprised. You'll also find that your enquiry will be most welcome and you will be treated to a first class service by the centre's sales staff. (I'm looking forward to all the abuse I'm going to get now)

I'm guessing he's on the South Coast somewhere around Poole/Dorset area as he has a thing for a young lady in a competitor's dealership.

I'm bored tomorrow - I'm going to take my scruffy arse down to the local Lexi dealers and try and scab some test drive time - test pilot and tyre kicker I ain't.

Wifey says I can chop the mondey in and its research time - was gonna be 'an old' A8, but she's given me a tad more budget to play with so.... let the research begin!

Excellent - a man who's got a bit of sense. The Audi A8 is a tired car now and lacks the build quality and performance of the Lexus LS460 SE-L or the Lexus GS450h SE-L. I would suggest the GS if boot space isn't an issue, it's a wonderful drive and would be pleased to see you at the dealership. We make excellent coffee too!

That's not really selling anyone a Lexus. Every car salesman will say that about the marque they sell.
