E46 lights and buying help

Hi Guys

Im new to this forum and have a few questions to ask anyone who knows..

I am looking to buy a 330ci Convertible (face-lift version) and have a few questions i have notice that some cars have silver surrounding headlamp and others have black what is the difference between the two, is one zenon's and the other not? Also are there different types of zenon's?

My final question on this topic is that i notice when viewing cars that some have 2 scrolling ajusters for the lights beside the stering wheel and others have one why is this and what does it indicate?

I know it may sound silly but im not familiar with BMW's and would like to make sure im not missing something that i dont know about or get the wrong option because the seller has mis-informed me on the cars features

Any other info or items to add to the check list when buying one will be greatly apreciated

I think the ones with the scrolling adujsters could be ones without Xenons as Xenons come with auto adjustment. Dont hold me to it though as I think one of my mates E46 330CI has auto adjustment and that doesnt have Xenons.
