I want to keep leather and have them heated but need recommendations on where to go to get a good job done. The other question would be who is a good reputable supplier for ECU chips. Recaros were an option, but according to my local dealership they are an no no to change them due to the runners and wiring...:mad: I think the standard seats are nice and comfy, although mine are only half leather and I would have liked full leather...ah well... They could do with being a bit more supportive, I guess, especially in the upper bolsters, but the electronic lumber support is vital (for me). I've done single drives of over 700 miles several times and never felt a single discomfort either during or after. The other question would be who is a good reputable supplier for ECU chips. Thanks ....If you mean the actual physical ECU then via VW themselves is the only sensible option. Or are you asking about remapping? Snoopy Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 I had to pad the lower back section out alittle to stop my lower back pain but i have an ongoing problem there and suffer in most cars. Nissans criple me in minutes. No amount of lumber adjustment helped but extra padding did. Recaros for some reason normally help me with this but i don't like the backs of the ones for the mk5 and then theres the airbag issue. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
