Hi guys, I ordered a Bluefin remap kit for my 2006 Audi A3 2.0T FSI Quattro. I read some great reviews so I thought i'd give it a go. And I can not wait for it to arrive!

BHP should go from 197 to about 240

NM should go from 280 to about 334

Now the standard 0-60mph time is 7 seconds dead , and top speed 149mph (although ive done 162 mph down hill :)). Any idea what i can expect with this upgrade? What kind of performance will it deliver.

Ok sounds good :) Hope it doesnt take too long. UK to Spain delivery is probably a week or so. Is the missfire problem all sorted now? I read that early software had some problems with that. But most of those posts were from 2006/2007.

I've not heard anything about Bluefins making cars misfire but I have only really been interested in the 2.0TFSi over the last few months since I bought mine. As you say, the posts were from some time ago so perhaps it was just a glitch in early software.

I've heard that good things about customer services too, so if you do have any problems you should be able to get them resolved pretty sharpish +++

I just installed it, and OH MY ****ING GOD (pardon my french) but what a difference! Car feels way more live, much more power! Im really pleased with the results.

With you there. A remapped car is how the car should have left the factory +++ Other mods such as a decent exhaust (Milltek) and better breathability will have even more noticeable improvement. Another modding convert.....?

exactly, audi should all build them like this.

I already put on a Remus Power Sound exhaust a few months back :) Im looking to find a good airfilter to let the engine breath better.

If only.....but Audi also have to guarantee their engines for 60k miles and they would expect them to last for 150k+.......so they have to play it safe....and to be honest, I don`t blame them.....That said when the current A3 nears the end of it`s production run I bet the run out model will be chipped at the factory to produce 220-230bhp to entice customers to buy and ensure the production lines are kept moving until the arrival of the new A3

A replacement air filter panel does the job pretty well, but a cold air intake sysytem, such as an EVOMS www.evoms.com* Porsche* Audi* VW* Tuning 996 Twin Turbo* 996 Supercharger or Carbonio Carbonio Performance Home will open the car up better +++

Ok thanks for the tip!

if i decide to put a cold air intake on my car, will i need new settings for my ECU? or is it fine with default bluefin settings?

I hope somebody can help me with this.

A friend and I have a Mk 1 Golf with a 2.0l 16V Mk3 engine with Digifant engine management on it. We're having a few problems with the immobilisier but, when we get that sorted, we'd like to either turbo- or supercharge it. Can anybody recommend a kit or a place we can look for more information on doing this, please?

Thanks for any help.
