D1MAC
Side profile is good, Front is ok, rear looks like a hearse Looks as big as a hearse in those images! Nearly but not quite IMO - a bit like it's saloon brother.
lesK
I like it, it's a nice looking estate and you don't get many of them. On the subject of skodas, has anyone seen the double opening boot on the saloon/hatch? link Škoda Edited March 14, 2009 by lesK
Tipex
Much like the saloon/hatch the side profile is quite nice, but the front and rear are hideous. We bought one for our fleet, but wont be buying any more, unlike the first generation Superb it's lost all the things that made it so good as a taxi. The double boot is a totally pointless waste of time/money. it's a saloon car, and just because the rear opens with the glass too (when you want it too) it doesn't make the boot any bigger or more practical. If they got rid of the stupid big front grille, and tidied the rear up a bit to make it not look like a Laguna, it'd be quite handsome. So far, ours has been very reliable (aside from boot hinges seizing up), with almost 50k on it now it drives very well, handling is pretty poor, just like it's predecessor, but thats not what the car is about, ride quality is average, interior seems well put together and feels quality, lets hope it lasts better than the Octavia 2 and previous Superb, as the fake high quality trim soon reveals itself once the 'quality' touchy bits start peeling back to horrible shiny plastic. JonC
Like others, I'm liking the side profile, but the front end is all to 1950's American for me and the back end is to Jap like Honda-esque. Would have a .:R36 over this one.
AvantSE
I'm a massive fan of estate cars, but this is let down by its rear end. Compare it to an A4, a Passat, or even the new shape V70 and it's butt ugly.
