New Audi TT Advice Please

I am looking to possibly buy a new Audi TT and am keen on the current PCP offer on the 2.0 TFSI. However I have a couple of questions:

1. Is the TT due a facelift any time soon or any spec changes imminent?

2. Will we see the 1.8T FSI Engine in the Coupe such as what is already in the Roadster? If so, when?

Thanks in advance +++

The tt-forum.co.uk will probably have any details of specifics to the car as they do have some relationship with Audi UK. There will be some updates for the new model year and I guess those cars will be available Oct/Nov time, but no idea what changes this will bring.

Based on the previous version of the TT, then the smaller engine didnt really make it intot he Coupe as we have the TTr 150 which was detuned 2wd version of the 1.8T, where as the coupe was always available with 180 and 225 variants. I think the idea of this is to make the TTr available to a wider audience by putting a 'cheap' variation in the mix.

If you look around you will also find offers on the TT over and above what is advertised, if the dealer doesnt want to discount go else where they are available on the TT, I got 8% off of mine last year +++

I too am looking at a TT purchase! They are bringing out a S-Line version in the next few weeks. It has different bumpers, lowered suspension, short shift gearbox, multifunction steering wheel, S-Line door plate, chrome tail pipes on 4 cylinder and 18" 5 spoke alloys. IIRC about £1600 extra. They are also doing a special adition S-Line with 19" RS4 alloys Dark Grey), Bose and Blutooth for an extra £650. This has got to be the one to go for.

Seen pics on configurator and on net for S-line but waiting to see in the flesh before making the decision. Also 2 new colours available for S-line, a blueish silver and misano red, brighter than the solid red.

Brokers are offering up to £2k off TT at the moment so be sure to drive a hard bargain.

residuals on the PCP deals look a little high and that is how they are keeping the monthly payments low at present. Not sure there would be a deposit for the next car in the residual prices.

Wife is looking to keep the car for many, many years with annual mileage of less than 10,000 so will probably borrow the cash for our purchase.

Hope that helps?
