So after purchasing my 70-300mm lens I thought that would be the final lens purchase for a while.

Somehow I have purchased a 17-55mm f2.8, and a very nice new toy it is. Must stop buying camera stuff!

But I have been taking photos, from tonight

The Fuji F30 is an awesome camera in my opinion. I still use mine for all my diving stuff, although I'm not prob'ly going to switch to the G11.

Indeed they go for £100+ on ebay regularly, Fuji's current sensors are only just catching up to it.

I'm considering selling it to get an S90 but haven't decided on it yet.

I like this a lot, the absolute straightness of the breakwater at right angles to the horizon, with the natural stuff breaking all round it, makes it feel very calming and Zen +++

Have you ever tried using a ND filter and slow shutter speed for waves? I don't live near any and have never got myself organised to try it when I visit my folks on the South Coast
