Mac
Was out playing with my camera in Brighton last night. Quite liked this - slow and moody. Looks better in B&W I think.

m4ttm4son
Hmmm, I like the blues. There's not much colour in the first one, so I think it works as is. The little spots of life stand out better against the very still and calm scenery.
CarMad
Good shots, personally I prefer the colour one myself.
JonC
Good shots, personally I prefer the colour one myself. I'm normally a fan of b&w's by far, but the little splattering of colour in the colour image, I'm liking a lot. Nice work.

Mac
Ah, it's just an icon from Aperture. I uploaded by screen-cutting.

steve2
Riz, I have just bought a Lowepro nova 200 bag whch carries all my kit apart from my Nikon 70-200 2.8 although I could take out some of the other lenses if I just wanted to take it and the D7000. I also have the SB800 flash gun. R.e the bag you need to decide whether you want a backpack type or a shoulder type bag
Mac
Hi,so what kind of kit are you guys use, got much in your bag? Riz My stuff is pretty straight-forward. Canon 7D body, 17-55mm F2.8 lens for the most part, circular polarizer, and various ND filters.
Sponge
I have the same body as Mac and have only recently aquired the 17-55 ef-s. It's a cracking lens and I've been wanting it for ages, but it's been out of my price range. That is, until Amazon recently dropped the price for a few hours and Canon introduced their cashback promo. I couldn't resist. Just don't tell the wife. :suicide: I just need to set aside a few hours to go through my images and upload them to Flickr. Taking the pictures is the easy bit. Finding the time to process them is almost impossible. Edited January 14, 2013 by Sponge
Mac
They are utterly brilliant lenses aren't they? Sure could do with a bit more zoom but if you couple the lens to a great sensor cropping is less of an issue. Rarely leaves my camera now.
