Fazzzman
I have a 57 reg A3 without an aux socket to plug in my i Phone, but it does have a bury hands free cradle (for a different phone) wired into the back of the the CD (the standard single CD player). If I get a bury cradle compatible with the iPhone, will it play iPod music through the stereo? Or is there an alternative way to do this? Any help much appreciated as FM transmitters are driving me mad! Thanks
shark_90
The best solution by far is the Dension Gateway 100/300 kit. It displays text on your instrument cluster, works via the factory radio controls and multi function wheel if you have it, and charges the iPhone too. If you need any information, give me a shout I'm a Dension dealer.
Fazzzman
Cheers Shark ... unfortunately its a company car and it goes back in September. I really need a fairly cheap (to make it worthwhile), and plug and play (so I don't damage the car that isn't really mine) way to connect it. I don't need to be able to control the music from the stereo, just set a playlist going and fire the sound to the CD player without using the FM transmitter which generally has a weak signal and intermittently gets worse. A cable would be OK if that were possible ... not sure what I'd need and how to connect it ... can anyone point me in the right direction?
Fazzzman
... but looking at the denison web site there is a Link FM Modulator for £68 - will this do the job? It refers to iPod but does it work with iPhone? Dension Ice>Link FM Modulator | Dension Ice If I already have a Bury cradle wired into the head unit, will there be a further connector to wire this aditional connection to?
