Elite Remaps
Hi Guys just to let you all know South West Remap is no longer an agent of Elite Remaps I can see he was promoting himself on a public forum and hope you understand this is not representative of Elite Remaps or any other agents approach to business. Anyway if nothing else it was good entertainment for you all Best regards Dave
DHA
That check engine light logo is far from reassuring! Yes that is exactly what I want from a re-map company!

To be honest I think you have done the right thing as having an agent like that can only muddy the reputation of Elite Remaps.

SINGH
I actually feel really sorry for him, I hope he still has an income or something to live off. Can't blame Elite for the action they took either though, I'm guessing you will pick your agents more carefully next time. Will he get any money back on any investment he made or is he screwed? Wizbit
His website certainly looks a bit different now But at the end of the day, if you have a really bad attitude like that guy had, then what do you expect to happen. Elite Remaps have a reputation to uphold and that guy had trouble written all over him.

He has been given the options to return his equipment, sell it (subject to approval), transfer to another supplier i wouldnt like anybody to be out of pocket and if he does continue in the tuning business i do wish him the best of luck. fatcat
I'd like to add that I've thoroughly enjoyed reading all of this. I'd like to add that when I had my A3 Tdi remapped I used to put the fear of God into the S3 boys.

Mook
BHP means ZIP on diesels - it's torque you should give a toss about. And I reckon your guesstimate of over 220 is way over.
Tipex
Torque if you want it to feel fast, bhp if you want it to actually be fast!
Woppum
2 part torque to 3 part bhp please
Mook
Torque if you want it to feel fast, bhp if you want it to actually be fast! Given that bhp is derived from torque when you calculate it, then whatever you say Tipex
Mook
2 part torque to 3 part bhp please No, no, no. You've been in that naturally aspirated Porka too long Sam - equal torque to bhp is the way to go :D
