Mollox
No, really - these things exist. Curiously it also had a Brabus badge on the back so god knows if it had more than the 640bhp of the 'standard' Zeppelin. Judging by the plate "L 1" its the Lithuanian embassy car. Latvia must be gutted, they only have a 730d....

pontyslapper
Doovla says... The vehicle details for L 1 are: Date of Liability 01 12 2010 Date of First Registration 17 12 2009 Year of Manufacture 2009 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 5980CC CO2 Emissions 390g/Km Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour BLACK Vehicle Type Approval M1 Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle 6 Months Rate £222.75 12 Months Rate £405.00 Motor Insurers Database has it listed as a Maybach 62 - RAC lists it as Maybach Saloon. So it seemingly checks out. Apparently it costs about £125 or thereabouts to fill the tank! - Gotta love the net for finding random nonsense! Calm Chris
Hideous. Just hideous. So if someone turned up in a Parker outfit outside yours every day in such a beast, you'd take shanks pony instead Qualify your opinion
Mook
So if someone turned up in a Parker outfit outside yours every day in such a beast, you'd take shanks pony instead Qualify your opinion Doubtless the people who passsenger in it want to be seen in a car like that. I wouldn't. If I wanted to be chauffeured and had an unlimited budget, I'd choose an S class Merc. No, I wouldn't choose an AMG model either - I don't see the point of them if you're sat in the back. And no, I wouldn't choose a Roller either. Maybachs are based on Merc mechanicals, with a massive amount of cow-hide thrown at them (plus a few extras). I think they look hideous. The joy of a Maybach is the opposite mate. hardly anyone knows what it is. The Zeplin is a car of over £500k but does it look like it? To be driven in a bach is still the best. its just the tech in these cars are so old its a joke. the new Bentley will be the best i think. Ours has now done over 100k miles without fault. Its a keeper, especially now its worth what it is !

Mollox
How can you not be tempted to walk into your nearest Ford Dealer, tell them you're really interested in a Mondeo 'because you do a lot of business miles', listen to all the crap they spout and then ask them to value your car and watch their faces
Dave
I expect that there are plenty of dealers who wouldn't want it.. they would struggle to shift it on I would think! However, it would be funny (as mol says) to walk in and say "Can i swap this for 3 mondeo's, four focus and a ka!" Andy_Bangle
Nah, don't sell it - take it up to Project Khan and get it blinged! The package includes special 22-inch wheels designed to accommodate the factory wheel hubs (lest a passer-by mistake this for an S-Class), smoked taillights, tinted privacy glass and an interior that can be fully trimmed to order (not that the standard Maybach couldn't have been in the first place). And with the sky the limit on customization,
fizzbitt
Ive seen that car in person... Would you believe that he has a deal with Lotus as well in the pipeline to 'pimp' one of their models? Think its the Elise but come on!
