As I have not received any interest in the car from Forum members, it has got me thinking! Am I asking too much for it?

I’ve really struggled to arrive at a price to advertise it. Is it priced too high? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

It’s going to be a shame to see it go, I need to sell the car, as my wife and I have twin girls and we are struggling with space – SUVs are calling!

Cheers

Thanks for the responses Riz and Matt R.

The dealer has offered me £13,750 if I were to PX it by the end of this month. Pretty much 40% depreciation since I bought it in March 2007. All this rubbish the dealers say about it’ll hold its value - blah blah blah!

I’ve just ordered a Audi Q5, and am looking to close the gap between the worst case PX and the cost of the Q5.

I'm going to put in on at £15,750 and see what happens!

Its a stage 1.5 revo map with dsg and 40k on the clock.

VW offered 17k for it and say I can sell for 19k.....so that very cheap seeing as they have actually increased in value from 17k private in dec to 19k now in jan....check glasses quide....I was lucky enough to have the valuation report printed off and given to me by my VW garage......so I'll be looking for around 18500.
