cruiser647
Saw one in the lovely medium blue metallic. I was very impressed! Looked really good!
CarMad
Yeah they do look nice, I might have a look at one when I change later this year. Just not sure if I go for bog standard Diesel Insignia or go for the extra Tax and fuel costs and go for the VXR....MMMMMmmmm
shao_khan
I ran a Insignia TDi SRi spec for a few months last year (Must do a review of this vs mondeo) and it was a very good car, my only real negative is that with the shape of the rear end you must have parking sensors as you have no idea where the back is and you cannot see a thing at the rear
Merlot
A great used buy once there are loads of them around. Even at the £25k you can get them discounted to, they are way too expensive. Two years old and sub £15k is better value (fingers crossed).

Difference in running costs is probably around £1500-2000 a year so not massive but with some pattering feet on the way I'd rather play it safe this time around I think. Maxyboy
I am currently running a 59plate SE 2.0 diesel. In white!! I have done 11000 miles in the last 6 months and it has been trouble free. Needed a new set of front tires at 10000 miles though. Which seems to be the norm. Whether its 19s like on mine or the standard 17s.
garcon magnifique
With pattering feet on the way (congratulations!) I'd look at the Insignia estate - I actually think it's better looking than the hatch.
Maxyboy
The estate is a better looking car. I was told when i collected my hatch;before the estate was released; that because the way the bed of the boot was arranged in the estate, the hatch actualy had more usable space. I've never confirmed this but worth checking.
shao_khan
I had an estate and the boot space was not fantastic.

Who knows I could end up getting an S-Max. Bit of a change than my current motor but priorities change....:D
