reza_q
Guys If it doesn't sell then I will keep the car. Just the ride height driving me mad! What are the options for lowering an S8? Eibach list a spring set for the A8 4.2, and after speaking with them it appears they will fit since the axle loads are the same. But since the kit is listed at 30mm drop and the S8 is 20mm lower anyhow, I will only gain 10mm which is ridiculous. Spax list a kit for the A8/S8 but I am reluctant to put Spax on the Audi! Bad RS turbo experiences... KW list coilovers but I don't want to be spending that much! FK list a Highsport kit, which is cheap at £550 for the full kit. But again, I have heard of lots of issues with shock knock with FK's on Fiat Coupes/Golfs etc. They are light cars, imagine with an 1800kg body to support.... What can I do? Has anyone lowered their cars with an S8 SPECIFIC spring set? Found some on german Ebay but I didn't recognise the branding.... Help appreciated. It's driving me nuts! If I could drop the car I wouldn't sell it as then it would tick all the boxes! Thanks in advance for your responses. P.s - Tony, did email mkoneman about his KW's, no response received. SINGH
Some of the American guys have installed Fks with no problems, you can get KWs for about £880 on eBay. You may get some money for selling your old shocks and springs to a non S8/Sport D2 owner. Slammed D2s look the business though, check Mkoneman's pictures here A8 / S8 Photo Gallery - A8 Parts Forum
