BHP: How fast you smash into the brick wall.

Torque: How far you can drive through the brick wall.

I like this one from the VXr 'ring crash thread:

That's one of my favourite quotes although with slightly smoother wording.

Oversteer is when the back of your car hits the wall.

Understeer is when the front of your car hits the wall.

BHP is how fast you hit the wall.

Torque is how far you take the wall with you.
