giraffehouse
Looking desperately for a really really short lead (better still adapter) to connect my iPod to the standard AUX socket in the TT. The tray to sit the iPod in is right next to the socket, so ideally want something with no or virtually no length at all to avoid trailing cables everywhere. Don't want the expense of the full iPod integration. Anyone help with this?:confused::confused:
shao_khan
Welcome to Tyresmnoke. The only solution I've been able to find was to use a patch lead from the headphone socket on the ipod to the aux in the car, places like Maplins used to sell some quite short leads - mine is only about 100mm length. shao_khan
Did see this today - not sure if its suitable as I cannot view ebay at work. The Audi TT Forum • Login
Chrisryder
Short, coiling leads are available from Maplin. I use one to connect my iPod and it works fine (connect headphone socket to Aux-in on car). Cheaper than retro-fitting an Audi iPod dock in the glovebox.
