Revert147 Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 I recently got myself a mark3 gti. I am interested in a new project and I'm wondering what other peoples thoughts are. Currently it's totally standard and I'm fairly tempted to retain it that way, however on the other hand I want to upgrade, the question is how far do I go if I did choose that route? suspension, breaks, tuning etc... and leave it at that or go for a full track day beast involving all of the above plus a full strip out, role cage, possible engine swap and more :-0! aware of how much of a money pit these thing can turn into.
