AZURES3
I am just approaching 5 months & 5000 miles with my SEAT Leon Cupra R. My previous cars since September 1998 were. Audi A3 1.8 T, Black grey leather. Audi S3, Azure Blue, Grey Leather. Audi A4 Cabriolet 3.0 Sport, Silver Black Leather I sold the A4 Cabriolet after several major faults, all in the past now and also to pay towards a huge wedding bill. After looking around the £17K - £20K area the SEAT really fitted the bill. Fast, practical, well built, good engine, excellent BREMBO brakes, 18" wheels, decent stereo & excellent driving dynamics. 5 Months in and not many days go by when the SEAT ceases to amaze me, in black when it;s clean it seems to turn a few heads as they are quite rare. Also at the traffic light grand prix it is an amsome bit of kit, more impotantly the 30-70 time is able tom compete with cars over double the cost. All in all I am very impressed, the badge snob in me says back to Audi when the finances allow in 2006, a new 280 BHP 3.2 S3 is in my sights BUT I do feel I risk being dissaponined as the SEAT trounces so many cars I have driven in both the flexibility of the engine, brakes and suspension dynamics I wonder if I will be dissapointed spening £10K more for what might be less If you are looking for a fast, fun, practical & well built car don't overlook the often forgotten Leon Cupra R. Still a nice car though Dunc
