Worth looking at the pollen filter housing as that's where mine leaked. The water off the windscreen flows down the scuttle right over the top of it. Back in the day Seat had to replace all my carpets under warranty due to water ingress from there. 116k miles in 10 years is nothing. I bought mine new when they came out in late 2002 and sold it early 2006 with 80k miles

 

It is wet in the back, driver side, passenger footwell that gets wet. Common consensus for that is the door seals. Thought we had nailed it. Back to the car tomorrow after not seeing it for three weeks so we will see if it is sopping!

Good luck in finding it, not much worse than damp carpets. Takes forever to dry out thanks to the soundproofing under the carpet.

Make it 2!  Still here, 160,000 now. turbo still hoots  Averaging 58mpg. I town drive less than 0.1% I reckon

 

Rear disks had to be changed recently due to a jammed caliper, front disks are original. The car is garaged overnight which I think helps a LOT. I service it with longlife oil on fixed interval of 13k

160K - going well!  And 58 mpg is something I can only dream of.

 

I'm upto 270K in my A8 3.0 TDi and an average of about 38 mpg with about the same town driving as you.
