Hey all. I posted a few months back about a bad clutch in my VW gold mk5 1.6fsi. It was suggested that the thrust bearing was probabally the concern or at least the part making a slight grating noise when starting up (until warm) and changing into gear, especially into 1st gear, say when going over a large speed bump. However, the problem hasn't really changed accept I hear a 'cluncing' sound when changing to 1st or reverse after being stationary, sometimes. Also there is a sharpish bend that I take when going to work and when travelling around it with the clutch up (as not to coast) the wheels seem to vibrate round the corner (only slightly noticable) this may be the esp cutting in, but not sure.
