Hi Guys after a great year with the E90 M3 it's going:rolleyes:, nothing wrong in fact it's been more that great.

I just need a change (as usual), so ordered for December delivery the M-Sport 550i in Space Grey with Oyster & Black 19" sport wheels code 351M + most sensible toys;)

With the sort of money that probably came out to I think I'd have gone a bit further and got an Alpina B5. (And personally I'd have gone for Sophisto Grey or a deep dark blue).

The new 5 series is growing on me, but Jeeesus Fecking Christ it's expensive. A decently loaded 530d is over fifty grand list. And I thought Audi prices had gone silly.

What was actually up with the M3 for you to want such a different change? Was it too focussed, not practical enough etc etc?

On the subject of depreciation, bloke here bought a new loaded Range Rover. Could have saved himself 10k by buying one with a couple of thousand miles on the clock. Daft tw4t.

So how much was that, 60 to 70 grand? If I was paying that much for a car I'm pretty sure I could and would pay up to 10 grand more to have it new and in the exact spec I want.

Perhaps Garcon, but what ever happened to the adage that "you don't get rich by giving it away"? He had a bit of a windfall so perhaps he wanted to treat himself but to me it doesn't seem like a sensible approach. Dropping a load of cash on a Ferrari or something sure, but on your daily driver when you don't have to?

Well done mate, I think that's a great choice... and I'm very sure it's going to work out a better option than the £53k frozen option ;)

I'm sure once Evolve et all have worked some sums out, it'll be a VERY quick and capable car!

Right, I'm off on the BMW car configurator :coffee:
