mintykev Posted October 26, 2010 Report Share Posted October 26, 2010 hi all, just joined the site after endless mind numbing googling!! i had oil in my engine coolant tank, and was told by local garage that either my head gasket has gone, or it had gone sometime in the past and been replaced, but the system hadn't been flushed after. so i got a new tank and this has since got oil in. the car is running perfectly, and has been for the three months since i first noticed the oil. i have to keep topping coolant up about once a week. the electric fan kicks in now and again but not all the time, not going above halfway on temp gauge, and absolutely no symptoms of anything wrong.................any suggestions please. thanx. kev Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
