KeithOT
I bought a second hand Garmin Nuvi 250 from an online dealer it was supposed to have latest 2010 UK/Europe maps installed. When it arrived the installed maps were old & a disc with an unlocked 2010 maps file on it was included. No instructions or anything else how do I load the maps so that the satnav can use them? map file is: gmapsupp.img:confused:
bfc1912
Someone on Pocket GPS World - SatNavs | GPS | Speed Cameras will be able to help. You usually have a program that when used on a PC with Satnav linked through USB allows you to upload. ALternatively if it has a flash card reader put the map on that and see if you can read that way.
KeithOT
Thanks I tried loading the file on the SD card in the satnav but I assume it is not seeing it as it reports that the installed maps are over a year old. I'll try Pocket GPS World.
