Mook
TUV is the German approval body. Given that Rimblades or each individual strip of Rimblade is probably made with a plastic extruder in China before being sprayed with a tin of Halfords finest gloss matt satin paint in a shed in Pawlett or Taunton in Somerset by Matt Coates, I'd say they'd not even thought about TUV approval. Matt Coates you say? Anything to do with Rimblades you say? Well the publically accessible info about rimblades.com says all you want to know about the person who's registered any .com domain name. Just Google "Who Is service". Now sadly, you can't get in touch with them as an end user (I mean someone who might actually buy the product). They're only interested in speaking to you if you're "in the trade" At this time we only supply to trade. We are looking for trade partners of all sizes worldwide and have a very attractive pricing structure that offers a great return to the wholesale and retail markets. We also have some exciting licensing opportunities available in some market areas. Please use the below contact form and we will get back to to you as soon as possible or call one of our staff on the numbers below. Mook
What, so you mean it's not Mr Morganian, cunningly disguising himself as Ian Morgan? And he was lying in his second post that it wasn't his web site? That's shocking!!! Surely people don't come onto forums and post stuff which might be of benefit to them only? Modern society. What's it coming to

garcon magnifique
I was thinking of using Rimblades as a haemorrhoid treatment - can anyone confirm whether they would be effective or would I just end up with bloody shitty rimblades and a big pain in the arse? Scotty
Wow ! Lucky for IanNotMorgannotIan that the mods are so tolerant otherwise this thread would have been closed and he'd have had his butt banned. I bet he doesn't appreciate it either! Morganian
Please accept my apologies for registering on your forum and for my first post advertising goods which I am linked to. I personally am not involved in the car scene be it modified or otherwise and do not use car forums. I accept that my post did not follow etiquette required on forums. I have not only been put right by yourselves, but the designer of the product who owns the major share of the company who is a car fanatic and a user of numerous auto forums and who is obviously not happy having invested everything he has in launching this product. As you have rightly discovered I am involved with the company and registered domains etc and got a bit over excited to find out what people would think of the product which as you can imagine has also upset our marketing company. I will say though to answer a question that this product is not made in China. It is manufactured in England from the best quality pre coloured PVC available and in this current economic climate I'd like to think people would support UK based products providing jobs and revenue to the economy. Although it may not appeal to the seasoned car enthusiasts that use this forum from the market research the company conducted it should appeal to lots of people who have damaged their wheels and are unable to afford to have them replaced or refurbished and to those who want to protect them from damage in the first place like car hire and lease companies. It also does not touch or interfere with the tyre in any way. By one little post, I seem to have made myself unpopular everywhere today. To protect the future of the company and my involvement with it could I ask that this thread be removed or locked down and my personal details removed. Thanks Matt
NewNiceMrMe
Well look, I'll back out on the basis of that being a reasonable and apologetic post. So there, that's one down.
Milo
Well look, I'll back out on the basis of that being a reasonable and apologetic post. x 2 Lesson learned I guess - don't try and spam forums used by people who a) don't like to be spammed, b) are pretty nifty and well practiced in digging beneath the surface. Decent apology though and if I'd dropped an enormous bollock, I wouldn't be too chuffed my personal details (and home address?) were made public. Mook
in this current economic climate I'd like to think people would support UK based products providing jobs and revenue to the economy. Oh I always do try and support British business. But not to buy what looks like a cheap, sh*t product. You may as well put gaffa tape on the wheel rims as use that stuff. What happens when your glue rakes the paint off when you remove them? What happens when someone kerbs the wheel. Just think about it. It's plastic that's glued on to the alloy. It'll just come off and kerb the alloy. To protect the future of the company and my involvement with it could I ask that this thread be removed or locked down and my personal details removed. Thanks Matt Maybe you should have thought about that before you posted what you did. Your personal details above are fully accessible from any domain Who Is service, so their being on here isn't going to change that. In reality you should probably leave this be. This thread will stop getting posts sometime later this year if you're lucky, then your search engine optimisation company can figure out how to get the web site above this thread. Or do you want to carry on?

My Colleague here did forget to mention that you can pay an additional annual fee to provide a degree of annonymity (sp), but now its in the public domain its public unfortunately - one of the wonders of the interweb. I think you would have had a fairly similar welcome on most major forums, common courtesy would have been to contacted an admin who could have explained the rules
