Activision may have realised from their mistake and passing the next title back over to Infinityward. Riz
I thought Treyarc and Infinity Ward took it in turns anyway? Well I'm not sure if that was written in stone, from what the rumours were is that Infinity Ward wanted too much £££ and the next slot went to Treyarc. Treyarc try to make it a good game but Black Ops and World at War were both rubbish in my opinion. Riz :D

The name Infinity Ward exists but thats all it is, just a same for PR, a new development house is working on MW3 with "help" from Infinity Ward to develop the story mode and another company has been commissioned to work on the online element of the game. Rumours also indicate that the MW2 engine might be used.... lets hope this is true. Scheduled release date is November 2011 Riz :D
AntW
Infinity Ward wanted too much £££ Activision (the publishers) wanted too much money, and there was a pretty public spat between the Infinity Ward developers and the boss of Activision leading the them calling him a money grubbing idiot and getting "fired". The rest of the development team quit over the next few weeks. Whatever the new IW team work on next will be pretty good by all accounts.
DanG
This is good news - although I am getting on with Black Ops online play a lot better these days. Riz - give it another try, its far improved from the early days and on a par if not better than MW2.
Riz
This is good news - although I am getting on with Black Ops online play a lot better these days.Riz - give it another try, its far improved from the early days and on a par if not better than MW2. I'll give it a go but me and my friends have serious issues with network stability or trying to join group games together, my NAT type is always on strict even after the last update.I used to be able to cure this by sticking in MW2 and booting it into the online menu, surprise surprise the NAT is open and as it should be. Boot back into Black Ops and it used to be ok too, but since the update its stuck on strict. Kind of given up, might boot it up and see if it works.... I don't think its better than MW2 though, AI and engine isn't as good. Lets hope MW3 uses a unmolested version of the MW2 engine, their is nothing wrong with it. Most of the Infinity Ward team work under Electronic Arts so I'm hoping they make use of the developers and stick to a war type game, then publicly advertise the fact the game is made by ex Infinity Ward team.
