NewNiceMrMe
It's been a long time since I bought car cleaning products. I need to buy stuff ready for MrsMe's car arriving next week so I can get it coated up sooner rather than later (because it'll be filthy within a few days and I want to get it protected before that happened). Where is the best (not necessarily the cheapest) place to buy online for swift delivery? The colour of the car is Deep Sea Blue metallic, so if anyone has a specific wax recommendation for that then feel free to suggest it. I've still got a tub of Pinnacle Souveran in the garage somewhere, hardly touched, but it might not still be usable.
Andy_Bangle
My current fav is Shinearama. Placed 3 or 4 orders with international shipping and never had a problem.
NewNiceMrMe
I've just used clearyourcar.co.uk cos' I remembered I'd used that in the past. Got the following: R222 100% Carnauba Wax (R2294) Megs Gold Class Shampoo (never had an problem with that in the past) Poorboys Wheel Sealant Megs #7 Show Car Glaze (not sure why but I liked the sound of this from the description) I've found 4-5 cleaning towels, micro fibres, cleaning mitts and stuff in the garage so they're going on a water-only cycle tonight in the washing machine. Low and behold if I didn't find a tub of RimSeal wheel wax the moment I'd placed the order too. Typical.

steelwind101
Shinerama is good as as it has a lot of brands and products all in one place. My hate previously was that you had to go to a couple of merchants to gets different brands. The only downside to the Shinerama is there prices are totally not the cheapest, depending on how much you order (ahem!) that can really start to rack up. If you want one item then hit Ebay or Performance Motorcare as shipping is often more reasonable. Elite car care was always always popular and is a good outfit as is Serious Performance. I recently wanted some clays and Meguiars Ultimate wash (to try) and got it and few others products from Roll Up and Shine which has a small range but low prices and they deliver fast and were really good. There price on the Sonus Tire and Trim was really good when others are selling for £9 (its great on tyres). Geoff
drpellypo
Cleanyourcar is one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. They also give you very generous loyalty points. I have £30 or so worth a while back.
SINGH
Always used cleanyourcar.co.uk myself. Them loyalty points drpellygo mentions are ace. Saved me loads.
NewNiceMrMe
Turns out I had £1.19 in redeemable points. Left them on there though cos it was only a an £80 order. Reading about PerformanceMotorCare on eBay reminds me that I've used them before too - and they were very good as well. Wasn't cleanyourcar.co.uk owned by someone who used to be on here most days? I'm pretty sure it was.
SINGH
I'm not sure but they have always gone out of their way to help me via e-mail and phone, offer recommendations and the delivery is speedy too. Customer services as it should be and my expectations exceeded. They also throw a freebie like a decent microfiber cloth/samples with some orders. TIDYDUBS
I like poorboys, meguires and zymol Yep good products.........go to Car Care Products | Detailing Products | Free UK Delivery or Detailed Obsession both really helpful and give sound advice via email too within 24 hours generally, if not too busy. They will tell you what type of products depending what sort of finish you would like and have good deals on bundles/kits from both guys and i have been using em for years now.........keeps it Tidy like. Poorboy’s White Diamond ultimate show glaze does exactly what it says on the bottle easy on and easy off in sun or shade ideal for white and silver cars gives it a wet silky look. Poorboy’s EX-P sealer is not bad either for once its polished bang it over and wait for it to dry+++
JoeNobody
I've used CYC, Elite, Serious Performance, i4detailing, MoreThanPolish, and bought direct from GTechniq. I'd also consider Polished Bliss (they do Werkstatt and Blackfire products) and Waxomomo (they do Wolf products). When I used CYC I paid extra from a Saturday delivery, but the delivery company got it wrong and I didn't get the delivery until some time during the next week. CYC's response? Sweet FA... I swore I'd never used them again, which is a shame because I really like the look of their new compact rotary.
JoeNobody
Forgot to mention Autobrite and CarWashNWax (Chemical Guys UK).
m4ttm4son
All my stuff, I got from Elite in one big starter order and it's all going strong, so haven't needed to replace anything. Found them to have excellent service. IIRC they even called me to say their courier was delayed and organised for the delivery the next day. eldavo69
You need next to no #7 show car glaze I've got some and it lasts forever. That could also be the fact that it doesn't seem to make any discernible difference though I like the placebo effect of the application. The one thing I would do is stick a decent chemical sealant on there first though. I've got a bottle of Zaino CS you can borrow, you use next to none and it'll last years! Will give you a buzz tomorrow as am North of the river the rest of this week.
