orange_plastic
Hi, Been using AutoGlym Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection by hand until now. I'm thinking it's time to get a DA and try out some other products. Can anyone recommend a good value one. Even better, has anyone got one they want to sell in the South-East UK? Tarmac_Terrorist
I bought a Kestrel DA a couple of years ago now. It's fine for applying AG SRP or even correction work. They have brought out a more powerful model as well which is probably worth the extra few ££. Can't recall how much I paid for it but it was cheaper that the Meguairs version. orange_plastic
Are there any decent cordless ones?
steelwind101
Are there any decent cordless ones? No....you need more power. Meguiars have revamped there buffer but Kestral seems like best value for money IMO. Geoff
PinkPrincess
I was going to suggest the Meguiars one but seems the Kestrel is better value as said above x
steelwind101
The new Meguiars one does have some nice features....as you apply pressure it keeps up oribiting rather then "stopping/buzzing" which is a good thing if/when you need it. Unless you are looking to make a living out of it the machine polisher probably wont have anyhting "serious" to do except the first time when you use it! After that its just for tidying up and restoring gloss. Now i have a bumper and back wheel arch area to buff out after it was "repaired" and also serious de-marring on every other panel!
