leno
Hi all. having flicked the owners manual a few times and without wanting to walk into BMW and ask -how do i activate (not that i'd use it) the M track mode? The manual makes reference to the 1/0 button on the wheel but this only sets the cruise? cheers Leno (I don't think it needs to go back anymore )
scillyisles
M track mode was only available on the E46 M3 CS and M3 CSL which had an M track button on the steering wheel. If your E46 has the MK60 control module in the dashboard then there is a workaround to enable M track mode.

Tipex
I guess the most obvious question is, do you have an M3?
scillyisles
Sorry what's MK60? MK60 is the dashboard cluster controller that was introduced to all M3 at the same time as the CSL was introduced. If you look on www.m3torque.co.uk in the E46 section you will see a very recent post about enabling this feature (M track mode) on E46 M3s that are not M3 CS or M3 CSL.
