paulb
Sorry Nick you don't count... I don't know what's happened - I spend a week out the country and off the net, come back to find the world has changed. Oh well... Looks like this could be a fun place to hang out... Bison1379134007
ahahahah no your right i don't count!! glad you found us.. so what do you think to the slating the new TT got on top gear tonight? i guess slating is too harsh! ... "its only 15bhp more and its a heavier engine!"... guess they expected the hair dressers couldn't handle anymore!! HAHHah *ducks* wayda go to encourage TT members bison! paulb
I think the thing is that I don't have to put my hairdryer down to change gear I must say, I am quite tempted by one, when the time comes to chop in the purple peril... Only 25 bhp more, but the V6 soundtrack and, although not a tweakable as the 1.8T, some tuning potential... Paul
SundeepTT
I just want that sound.....
GOLF GTTi
Gimme a 225 anyday The V6 will no doubt sound sweet but to get any serious amount of power from it will cost ££££££ No, I would stick with the more tuneable option
danksy
No way dude! The 3.2's are too heavy, too expensive, and not tunable (unless you pay £4k for a blower!) Whatever floats yer boat, but I reckon you'd be better of waiting 4 yrs for the new version!
M12BJN
V6 = tooo heavy and not enough BHP to warrant the extra weight (and price tag!). I must admit I like the new style lower grill and the vents in the front spoiler. Not sure about the rear exhaust outlet surround and boot lip... - Ben
Thorney
Oh I don't know, if the gearbox is like an M3 smg it could be quite fun
M12BJN
I better pop round to Amersham Audi and book me a test drive.
GOLF GTTi
Yeh Ben, I think the front end looks great I intend to try to order the parts for mine as I have to remove the front end to fit my Forge FMIC anyway so this would be an ideal time to replace what's there

M12BJN
I've added the 2003 grill plus the V6 spoiler to my list of future mods...
kmpowell
Ih Kandys, hows Golf life treating you since our last get together at CC? And as for the TT forum, well its grown up and is suffering from its own success. I now frequent many other forums where the banter and structure is how the old TT forum used to be, much better and chilled. TTR will probably be going soon and being replaced with something a bit secret(cant say what yet, incase it doesn't come off )
