shao_khan
I quite like the fact the Toon are back in the top six. It makes for much more fun when the inevitable happens next year... What we win the prem?
garcon magnifique
I was thinking something slightly more likely. Like Bet Fred pays out on you winning the Prem when you're 18 points clear in February. Only for a truly bizarre string of results to hand the title to Sunderland on the last day of the season by a single goal.

NewNiceMrMe
The unfortunate truth for Newcastle is that once the transfer window opens... Cabaye - will be gone Ben Arfa - will be gone Cisse - will be gone Tiote - will be gone Djemba Ba - will be gone Mike Ashley is not going to turn down the bids that are going to come in for any of those and NUFC fans know it. As good a season as it has been, the whole spine of the team will be torn apart once the cheque books of the interested parties get opened. m4ttm4son
I'm not so sure. In the past they've had one or two players worth a few quid and the rest of the team were shite. Now they have a pretty good team that are challenging for something. He actually might realise that keeping these players together will net him more wonga by playing a few games in Europe than selling them all in June. Unless he gets an offer the equivalent of £35m Andy Carroll
NewNiceMrMe
He'll get offers of £20m for each of them, maybe less for Ba because of his injuries - and he'll take all of them. Tiote is already a primary target for Chelsea with a bid price of £20-25m expected. Cabaye is being eyed by a host of clubs and Ben Arfa is on the radar of even more. Cisse will be a target for City, United, Chelsea, Real, Barca, you name them - he is almost certain to go in my view.
garcon magnifique
If you use the basis of Carroll being worth £35M, then you'd have to combine the defence budgets of the whole of NATO to buy Cisse.

NewNiceMrMe
United won't pay silly money for Cisse and he won't be joining us anyway. City will though.

You do realise your predictions for football count for the square root of f*ck all on this forum, don't you? It's a while since you've even correctly predicted a kick-off time, never mind scores and transfers

Calm Chris
It's a while since you've even correctly predicted a kick-off time, never mind scores and transfers Unkind, but true. This weekend will turn out some pretty important games, should be fun. Funny how only top 3 counts for CL, so that pops the lid of pressure straight on to three clubs. There's an exciting mix of if, but, maybe- head to head for title, 3 or 4 way run for 3rd, and maybe 4th subject to the champions league. Then there's the mix for relegation. Let the fun commence. NewNiceMrMe
Well to ensure Newcastle get all the support possible tomorrow - I'm off to the match. Needs must and for the first time ever I'll be screaming for the Toon tomorrow. If City win I'm just going to head straight to the Tyne Bridge. Calm Chris
I wouldn't feck Delia, not even I'd she did the best full English. Wenger doesn't have a clue some days, and oh for a squad that had to fight for a place in the 1st team. Just maybe that would prevent a display of complacent 1st teamers thinking their job is a walk over. ****s, one and all.
NewNiceMrMe
Good day Chri5? I tell you what, whatever happens, this has been a cracking season. I don't recall a season ending like this in many, many years. Title up for grabs, Champions League places up for grabs, Fourth place indecision because of Chelsea in the final, only one club relegated with 2 games to go, it's just superb.
