Interesting to see that David Gill has immediately said Manchester United have funds ready to spend and Borussia Dortmund, having just been crowned German champions again, look like a target for players.

Their star midfielder this year, Kagawa, has turned down a contract and Dortmund have confirmed they expect him to go - with his agent saying United have already expressed an interest and the player wants to go there. We'll see how that one progresses.

They're also said to be in for their main striker, Lewandowski.

Let the transfer rumour mill and madness commence.

Sunderland will take Bendtner in my opinion. 8 goals in 27 appearances isn't too bad and he's actually looked quite good for them when he's played.

p.s. agree with the above, RVP's statement was very Ronaldoesque - he's gone in my opinion. I don't think it'll be City though. I reckon he's bound for Spain.

Great team but you missed out the best of the lot. Mario Gotze.

Arsenal trying to sign Yann M'vila is interesting to. He is a class act and a cross between Song and Wilshire as in he a tough tackling no nonsense player he loves to dictate play. Saw him a few years ago and he was awesome then.

I don't know which way to call it. Everyone is expecting us to lose 3 or 4 players but I am not so sure. Ashley is a twunt but he is also a very shrewd businessman. He seems to be in it for the long run so he may pass up short term gains if he thinks Europe could be a moneyspinner and ultimately increase the value of the club. I still think he would sell to the higher bidder if the opportunity arose.

That said, he has a proven record of pissing every fan off just when he seems to be winning them over, so we shall see.

I wouldn't want Gotze. I don't think he's proven enough yet. Too young and there are still doubts about the long term impact of his injury from earlier in the season (or 2011, can't remember). If he continues (i.e. recovers and gets back to a regular place and stays fit) then I don't doubt he'll play a major role in German football in years to come - and somebody will steam in with a big bid. But right now I think it's all a bit too risky.

Well if Pardew is to be believed he's already been told they'll be sold.:roflmao:

What has RvP said that makes him gone in your opinion? Everything I've heard says he's settled and happy. A gooner since he was a kid, too. Arsenal are only improving from here. Podolski in, a few others and that makes for a powerful squad to challenge next season. It makes me laugh wondering how we finished 3rd, when we had a horrendous start and hardly an emphatic finish.

Sp*rs and Chelsea are playing catch up. I'm not sure how Sp*rs will be able to convince anyone to join/ keep Modric etc unless they can qualify for Champs League. Chelsea need to bring in some serious reinforcements. Terry, Lampard and Drogba won't be able to drag this team through another season, well if they want to finish better than sixth anyway. Not to mention their manager decision.

Another very interesting summer transfer window.
