garcon magnifique
True, but he's a born and bred scouser. Naked hypocrisy is a birthright.
Waylander
As opposed to Fergie's: "He dives all over the place. He's a disgrace to Liverpool Football Club"
Milo
So, are the ABUs only going to concentrate on Young's exaggeration? (It was a penalty, regardless)No mention of the handball in the box not given, or indeed Given handling outside the box going unpunished? Thought not... Have you ever had a sense of humour or did you have it kicked out of you as a kid, or something?
garcon magnifique
I always thought Fergie was wrong in saying that. Clearly, being a diving cheat is no disgrace to Liverpool. And technically Young doesn't dive, he waits until he feels contact before going down. Admittedly he does seem particularly sensitive to the tiniest amount of contact... Waylander
He's as much of a puffter as Drogba in that regard.
NewNiceMrMe
I love it when the only thing that makes the scousers come out is to have a dig at another year of success for United. Can't wait to see Chelsea batter you at Wembley. It's going to be one of those "Please pan around the scouse supporters in the crowd" afternoons.... Waylander
How was I having ago at Man U sucess? I mentioned #20 ages before you did. Doesn't take away from Young being a diving little sh*te. Highest ratio of penalties won or some such.
NewNiceMrMe
Todays was a penalty. Last weeks was not. Yes he made the most of todays, but the ref would have still awarded the penalty. But hey, let's focus on that and forget the 3 goals that followed it.

And technically Young doesn't dive, he waits until he feels contact before going down. Admittedly he does seem particularly sensitive to the tiniest amount of contact... And if he doesn't feel any, he kicks out a leg in an attempt to get contact. So really, he's fouled the defender in this instance.
garcon magnifique
At least he does it with a little grace, as opposed to that slapstick comedian Carroll.
m4ttm4son
Carroll should be careful, if he falls too hard and breaks his leg, the vet will have to shoot him.
Twinspark
Well, that last 10 minutes looks like it'll be the most vital 10 minutes of the season - it was the title slipping away from United and it's now half way across the City on the way to the Council House. They're going to give us a right shafting in the derby.
m4ttm4son
*Checks the table My word, how has the gap closed so much? Man City win this evening and beat Man U and it's all up for grabs. I had such a focus on this battle for third, I didn't realise that 1st was still up for grabs. What a match that will be! (No it won't, it'll be 1-1 or something dull. Fergie's too smart to go for the win and chuck it away)
Twinspark
I don't think the team is good enough to play for a point - my view is that we've handed it back to City. 5 points dropped in 2 games, that's bloody shocking at this stage of the season. To be brutally honest, to have dropped the ball when you have an 8 point lead with 6 to play, you don't deserve to win the title.

What? Look, we still have a 3 point lead. City have to win it. They won't. Honestly, have faith! Fergie doesn't lose titles at this stage and he ain't gonna lose this one. You should know that. NewNiceMrMe
It's ours. In stone. Pin it if you want, the trophy is staying at Old Trafford and that's a god given fact.

We've just dropped 5 points in 2 games, wiping out the 'safety net' we had... and City are on form. They're going to be rampant at home, and we're looking pretty ****, so I stand by my prediction that we've blown it.
NewNiceMrMe
I don't think we're looking **** at all. Everton were excellent today. Wigan were excellent too and a few other teams will testify to their form. We haven't blown it at all in my opinion. We are still 3 points clear and you seem to be forgetting City have to go to a certain SportsDirect.com stadium where they won't come away with any more than a single point at the very most. We'll go to the United Stadium and we'll get at least a point. That's all we're going to need. As I said, faith. The man is a god and he'll deliver the trophy this season, without question. Waylander
More pertinent that any of this IMO is that United play 2 mid-table teams with nothing to play for but City play Toon and QPR both of which will be tough (well okay I reckon Toon will be anyway). I think City will win at home but (sadly) United will still win the title.
