I think it will be an excellent race tomorrow with a few of the major players coming through the pack.

1. Jenson Button 1:47.573

2. Kamui Kobayashi 1:47.871

3. Pastor Maldonado 1:47.893

Maldonado been a naughty boy and drops three places...

Really looking forward to the race too. Spa normally gives us an interesting race and the grid mixed up a bit should help make things exciting. +++

Cheers for that, BBC seem to have missed it.

It was announced after the coverage.

Good Saturday for Button after so many dismal races in the first part of the calendar. Not sure he is going to be up there in the race, he was on the limiter a lot, not great for overtaking to say the least with such a long straight and toe available.

Button has the new rear wing. Hamilton couldn't get it to work so used the old one. Looks fast in quali and if he can get out front he may disappear. Still stick to my original forcast of Kimi (said Lewis too but he looks too slow now) as he is epic round Spa. Should be an interesting race. Sauber were fantastic today.

Can someone explain to me what caused Grosjean to embark upon a mission to destroy Hamilton as quickly as possible? :roflmao:

There still trying to find someone to explain that one.

Why was LH carrying a bit of car back with him?

Although accident wasn't his fault, LH seems to have had one of his strange weekends with things like tweeting driver traces and then getting told to take them down.

Grosjean is a real talent but needed to be reprimanded because he is causing to many dangerous accidents at the beginning of races. It's almost like he drives blind as the lights go out. You cant just drive anywhere on the track without some compromise. Think this will do him some good long term, slow him down and concentrate about finishing. Alonso could have been seriously injured in the crash, he was very lucky.

Romain made a gross(jean) error of judgement, but Lewis was at least 50% at fault. He had space to his right and didnt back out and it was this fact that lead to the sizable accident.

In both the GP2 and GP3 races in the morning cars had run down the grass and gained places.

Prehaps Lewis was tweeting his clutch settings and moaning about his start.

Kimi's pass on Michael wasnt that impressive given Michael was missing 6th gear.

Cannot wait for Monza.

It looked impressive at the time, but yes - found out afterwards that was the precise moment 6th went bang - so Schumacher unexpectedly missed a gear under full acceleration. What looked like an impressive pass was mainly Kimi managing to drive round him rather than hit him up the arse at 180mph... :P

Really?

I've watched it several times and Grossjean just ploughs across into him, he'd already moved as far as the white line on the edge of the track then Grossjean just gave him an extra nudge. He couldn't ease up either as Grossjeans wheel was already in behind his.

I dont know about you, but if I was in this position I might actually move over abit.

Given that Romains car was thrown sideways by the impact and therefore had reduced braking capacity, I find it remarkable that Lewis managed to hit the back of him.

I could find a picture of Hitler smiling it wouldn't make him a nice guy, if you watch the video on the BBC website (presumably where that still came from) when Grosjean moves across Hamilton does move slightly further to the right just before Grossjean punts him off the track, he's hardly going to yank the wheel to the right when he's under full acceleration is he?
